Fortune Telling, Building Self Esteem and Having a Lot of Fun!

I’m witnessing a new trend at parties with tween boys (ages 8-13).  I’m very excited about it!  The boys have been swarming around my fortune telling table intently listening to their readings, passionately asking questions about their lives and their futures. 

At an elementary school carnival, seated at a black draped picnic table, I was instantly surrounded by 15 boys, ages 9-11.  Each was clamoring to be next.  I made it a group experience and we had so much fun together.  Many came back for seconds.

In addition to being both fun and engaging, my tween readings are intended to build self esteem and to encourage kids to pursue their dreams – whether it’s to be a big success at baseball, perform on a big stage or win a science contest.  The readings can energize their spirits while engaging them in a fun activity.

I was touched that some the kids came over and thanked me and said they hoped I’d be back next year.    Me too!
